Conclusion

In this experiment, we determine the lower and higher cut-off frequencies of each amplifier. The lower cut off
frequency for the common base is 10kHz while the higher is 100kHz and for the common emitter the low cut-off is
10Hz and the high cut-off is 130kHz. We also sketch the bode blot of each amplifier frequency response and
characterize how frequency affects the gain of an amplifer.

Observation

The output of the circuit is a sinusoidal AC waveform, the blue represents the output and the red is the input
of the circuit base emitter and common emitter.

The output and input AC waveform is relatively changing as the frequency of signal generator change.

Interpretation

The emitter bypass capacitor, CE can provide an AC ground path for the Emitter, shorting out the emitter
resistor, RE leaving only the signal Emitter resistance, re in the Emitter leg. The effect of this is an increase in the gain
of the amplifier (from 0.5 to 33) at high frequencies but also a decrease in the amplifiers input impedance value, (from
18.5k to 2.2k)
