Oreo Phases of the Moon Instructions

Clean workspace and hands

Prepare workspace (paper towel and spoon)
Put hand up and I will give you 8 Oreos
Begin scraping icing to make phases of the
moon
a. use the spoon to scrape off the icing into
the appropriate moon phase
b. scrape/wipe excess icing onto the
leftover Oreo cookie
c. if a cookie breaks or your drop one, etc.
please throw it out and get another (be
gentle with the Oreos--we only have a
limited amount!)
Set Moon-phased Oreo to the side and
continue process until you have all 8 phases
complete
Once you have all 8 phases complete, get a
piece of paper and label your Oreos/Phases
of the Moon. Place them on the sheet in the
correct order.
a. your sheet of paper should have a title, 8
Oreos, 8 Moon phases titles, and your
name.
DO NOT THROW OUT OR EAT YOUR OREOS
UNTIL I HAVE TAKEN A PICTURE OF THEM,
YOUR WORK SPACE IS CLEANED UP AND, I
HAVE TOLD YOU CAN EAT THEM!
