those loved ones who have died, especially on the anniversaries
of their deaths. Please contact Fr. Cory for more information.

Putting our complete trust in the Lord without expecting

anything in return. Striving to put God first in all things and
follow Him wherever He may lead us. As we prepare for the
birth of our Lord, pray for the strength and courage to be a
model of discipleship, just as Joseph was.

Retrouvaille

We are in the process of refreshing and renewing the bulletin,

and are once again accepting announcements of interest to the
larger parish community. Please contact Fr. Cory at
frcory@SaintMarysMalta.org if you have any
announcements for the bulletin!

Does your marriage need a tune up? Or even a major

overhaul? Sometimes a marriage can run along fine and
then things change. They may need your time and attention.
Sometimes lines of communication break down and they need
repair. Sometimes our focus moves away from our marriage and
family and needs a little redirection. Sometimes a fair or
average marriage is just not enough. Have you ever thought to
yourself, "How can I make my marriage better?" If so,
Retrouvaille can help. Retrouvaille is marriage program for
couples whose marriage has become off course. It begins with a
weekend program that can help get your relationship back on
track. It is an effective program that has worked for thousands
of couples and it can work for your marriage. For more
information about an upcoming Retrouvaille Weekend program
for couples, contact registration team: at 1-800-470-2230 or

'Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it
is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Luke 18:16
Advent is a joyful time of year in the Catholic Church as we await
the birth of baby Jesus. This a great time for parents to start bringing their children to Mass. As Advent progresses the church becomes
decorated and the kids will anticipate Christmas as the time of Jesus
birth, not just family and gifts. As the young ones are being prepared
to receive their sacraments, they will need to be in attendance at
Mass. This is a great time of year to start in preparation of the sacraments.

Looking for something new to do in 2017?

How about starting or joining a Small Group Study. These groups can
be held at anytime or place the group chooses. These groups are for
the study of the Gospel or the Catholic Faith. The RE center has The
Symbolon Series with leaders guide and the Catholicism Series with
leaders guide. If you are interested in any other types of studies or
book groups call Brenda at 301-0936 or Fr. Cory at 654-1446. Well
help you find what you are looking for. All we ask is that the material
be true to the Catholic teachings of the Faith.

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus members for the Christmas

goodie bags! The kids really enjoyed them!

Drinking the Spirit

On January 10th, Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. we are starting a new Adult Group, "Drinking the Spirit". This will be
held at the Tin Cup on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Each week we will have a different Catholic
topic with a presenter. Questions and discussions are encourage. Our first presenter is Fr. Garrett Nelson
from the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings. We are each responsible for our own "beverages" and or food. This
should be a relaxing and enjoyable way of learning about the Catholic faith. This group is very similar to the
international groups "Theology on Tap", Miles City has "Suds and Salvation" and our new group is "Drinking
the Spirit" Please plan on joining us, spread the word and bring a friend .
