We hope that the teaching, learning process will be greatly enriched for attendees by attending this workshop. Third National Conference on power System Emergencies— NPSEC-2015 28" March 2015, Power System Emergencies (PSE) is the procedure of restoring power system elements after a partial or a complete blackout, At a time when bulk power systems operate close to their design limits, the restructuring of the electric power industry has created vulnerability to potential blackouts. Prompt and effective power system restoration is essential for the minimization of downtime and costs to the utility and its customers, which ‘mount rapidly after a system blackout, Power System Emergencies studies meet the complex. 13 challenges that arise from the dynamic capabilities of new technology in areas such as large- scale system analysis, communication and control, data management, artificial intelligence, and allied disciplines. It provides an up-to-date description of the restoration methodologies and implementation strategies practiced internationally, Because of its economie and political importance, a lot of research is carried out in investigating and development of new methods tools, models for power system emergency studies. Power System Emergencies is essential reading for all power system planners and operating engineers in the power industry. Itis also a valuable reference for researchers, practicing power engineers, and engineering students. The overall theme of the NPSEC-2015 in uncertain aspeets of electric power and energy systems which includes, but not limited to: * * ° ° Power System Stability Analysis [ Vollage + Frequency] Power System Reliability Analysis Operation, Control and Protection of Power Systems under uncertainty Impacts of Renewable Energies and Distributed Generation on networks. ‘Smart grid, micro grids with Renewable Energy Sources Probabilistic methods for energy markets and asset management Damage Assessment and Restoration Modeling of Power Systems after garth quakes Condition Monitoring, Failure Diagnosis and Reliability Centered maintenance Probabilistic Approach for Analysis and Design of Electrical Machines and Drives Energy Storage Design for electric power un certainty Intemational coordination towards fully fiunctioning interconnected power grid Guest Lecture on Power Quality Issuesand Measurements 27" August 2014 Leam all about latest tends of 3D Animation with Maya implementation and begin managing your own animated clips and movies like a professional at this workshop 14 Attendees will be provided with instructions to build and manage their own new animated clips.
