ESSENTIAL MINIMUM CRITERIA

A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline

Teaching experience demonstrating both commitment and success; or a demonstrated capacity to develop the skills that
enable effective and inspirational participation in the teaching program of the school
Ability to significantly contribute to the teaching and administration of subjects (including curriculum development) within
the range of subjects offered by the school

Ability to significantly contribute to world class research within one of the following areas: Distributed Computing,
Software Engineering, and Optimisation and Logistics

High level of oral and written communication skills in English

DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTICS
1

Applicants with strengths in Software Engineering teaching are particularly encouraged.

Ability to contribute to the promotion of computer science to the wider community

Willingness to participate in occasional delivery of offshore teaching programmes.
