The Commission on Liturgy and Worship of the Diocese of Novaliches is
promoting a communal celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours, specifically the Morning Lauds and the evening Vespers in all of our 69 Parishes of the Diocese. These Prayers may be integrated within the scheduled Masses in the parishes or may be recited communally but separate from the Eucharist. In order that there are people in charge of this Communal Celebrations in the parishes, the same Commission has requested the undersigned Bishop that a Prayer Community be established in every Parish for this specific purpose as a Private Association of the Faithful and to be known as Liturgy of the Hours Prayer Community. We shall make consultations with our Clergy on the matter before we shall recognize the group officially. Enclosed are its Constitution and By-Laws a copy of which we give to the Vicars Forane who will discuss the matter in their Vicariate meetings. Thank you so much for the kind attention. Given in the Chancery in Fairview, Quezon City, 16 November 2016.
