Learning Log #2

1. This article is about animal rights and how they are like us. The author explains that they
feel emotion just like is and aren't all reliant on instinct. His first example is pigs and depression
when they have no social interaction. He uses crows to explain their smarts and gorillas who know
sign language. Another example are their self awareness and mourning their dead. While some
cases lack detail and reliable evidence, he makes good points.
2. I only half way agree with the author. While he makes valid points I can't believe him
unless he has better sources and goes more into detail with these examples and research.
3. Why does he only use fast food as a research source?
What made him choose these specific animals and sources?
