Learning Log #4

While in Eberts life, he values life more positively than Hamlet does; though suffering from
cancer that took his jaw and voice away. Despite being a prince, Hamlet considers his life over
when his mother remarries and loses his soon to be wife. He contemplates death and life,
considering one to be afraid of and the other a burden. Ebert one the other hand, is indeed
famous but when learns that he can never speak again, just picked up writing and continued his
work. He became more positive, being unable to be angry for long, and gave more positive
reviews to movies. Ebert doesnt fear death because there is nothing there to fear. Hamlet fears
death because he doesnt know whats waiting for him.
