    Themostcommontypeofpostingchangeinvolvesgoodsreceivedinthewarehousethatareposted
    forinspection.Whengoodsarereceivedintothewarehouse,theyarefrequentlyheldforinspection
    beforetheyarereleasedasstockavailableforissue.UserusetheIMcomponenttoassignthestock
    categoryQ(qualityinspection)toinspectionstock.

    Thestockcategoryisnotremoveduntilthegoodshavebeeninspectedandreleasedfromquality
    inspection.Oncethereleaseofmaterialfrominspectionisauthorized,usercanreleaseallorpartof
    thematerialforuse.Theprocessisasfollows:

    a.ReleasethestockfrominspectioninWMorIM.QMmanagedstockcanonlybereleased
    inQM(usuallythroughausagedecision).

    b.ProcesstheresultingpostingchangenoticeinWMbycreatingatransferorder.

    WhenatransferorderiscreatedandconfirmedforapostingchangenoticeinWM,thesystem
    removesthestockcategoryofQasfollows:

    locationinthesamewarehouse.

    LQ02:Youcancarryoutpostingchangenotices(PCN)directlyinitiatinginWMandthiswill
    makethechange(correspondinginventorystatuschange)inIMaswell.Youhavetodoafew

    customizationstepstobeabletodothisthough.

    LU01:CreationofthePCNindependentlywithoutthebeinginitiatedinIMfirst.Typicallythe
    PCN'sarearesultofIMaction.WiththisyoucancarrythesameinWM.

    LU02:YoucanchangethePCNcreated.
