GYE Notes

Parents and students - PLEASE read this carefully so that you can properly prepare for our time at
Gettysburg College. Note that most of this information is in the packet you should have already
received from GYE. If you have not received a packet - call me IMMEDIATELY. 607.329.0673

• Payment still owed from all participants: $107.00, in a check to “Gettysburg Yearbook
Experience.” The Flower Sale contribution was $4,200.00 to the 18 participants going

to GYE, or $233.00 per participant. The remaining balance ($107.00) must go with us contact information for
on July 10th. ($125 deposit + $233 + $107 = $465.00, GYE’s total tuition) emergencies:

• Camp travel dates are: Saturday, July 10th - 7:00am, meet behind West High
School for departure on CPP school bus. Please be prompt on your arrival. We return Mr. Mike Simons
Thursday, July 15th - 6:00-7:00pm, approximately.

• Be sure to read the GYE Packet THOROUGHLY and complete ALL paperwork, including
the medical form. I cannot let you on the bus if you do not have a complete medical GYE Administration
form. I suggest you FAX the form to the GYE administration prior to departure, in fact, Office - 717.337.8865
then bring the paper copy with you for departure.

• Pay close attention to the packing lists AND the requirements for your classes as GYE FAX for Medical
listed on the information packet, page 5 and 6. I recommend you bring a FAN. Also, do

• Saturday night, we will walk to dinner in Gettysburg; please bring $10 cash to
contribute; Yearbook will pay for the rest.
