reported DEPO so far. The mov of the JCO has been over delayed and offr is without a PA for
the last two months reflecting a non-seriousness towards implementation of the posting order.
2.
Foregoing in view, the vacancy may be allotted to Army Air Def so that an appropriate
JCO/NCO can get as PA. It is also requested that be posted the vacancy may be shifted to the
panel air of the all Brigs posted to DEPO in future.

It is intimated that PJO-3058310 Sub Clk Mumrez Khan has been posted to 17 Loc
Regt Arty Bahawalpur vide ltr at ref A. However, his son is a kidney patient since 2009 and
under treatment in AFIU, CMH Rwp (photocopy of med docus is att). Moreover, the JCO was
posted to DEPO (from 101 NLI Regt Arty, Azad Kashmir) on the same reason and now the
patient is in stable condition due to regular treatment by AFIU. It is pertiment to mention that,
CMH Bahawalpur is Cl-B hospital, having no facility of Urologist / Nephrologists and it is likely
that patients health will further deteriorate due to the absence of medical facilities. The same
case has already been mentioned in extn proforma fwd vide our letter at ref B.
2.
In view of above, you are requested that as a/m JCO is in last leg of svc therefore he
may be adjusted in Attock / Rawalpindi due to treatment of his son or be granted extn at the
present unit being in last two years of svc, please.

DEF EXPORT PROMOTION ORG, DEF COMPLEX E-10 SECTOR ISLAMABAD
1.
Background. Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) is a temporary
organization, which was established in March 2000 in JSHQ, with the understanding that,
unambiguous support will be provided by all services. In the same spirit, a case was taken up
with O&M Directorate for attachment of manpower to DEPO for smooth functioning, which was
approved by competent authority vide O&M Dte ltr no 82/2669/Gen/O&M-2-89PZ4X dated
29 Feb 2016. Following persons were attached with effect from June 2012. Extension of these
individuals is granted on yearly basis by CGS Dte Sectt through O& M Dte:d.

Problem Areas.
After nearly 16 years of its raising and commissioning of Display
Centre and increase in other activities related to IDEAS, foreign exhibitions and increased
number of visits by high profile local and foreign dignitaries day by day, which requires
experienced and better trained staff for handling the local administration maint and
documentation and protocol related duties etc, the approved manpower of uniform persons to
DEPO is not sufficient.
4.
Priority for Review.
Review is essential due to handling of inc office functioning /
administration and other protocol related activities.

Background. Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) is a temporary
organization, which was established in March 2000 in JSHQ, with the understanding that,
unambiguous support will be provided by all services. In the same spirit, a case was taken up
with PA Directorate for attachment of manpower to DEPO for smooth functioning, which was
approved by competent authority. Following persons were attached with effect from June 2012.
