SUBJECT
Rate Contract for supply of NZS & NGV O-Rings for a period of 2 years.
GENERAL
This
has
reference
to your offer vide letter dated 01.07.2015 and all
correspondence up to your email dated 23.09.2015 for the subject supply. We are
pleased to place order on you for subject requirement as per Schedule of Rates
attached.

CONTRACT VALUE
The total contract value shall be Rs. 10,98,563/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakh Forty Two
Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Two only) as per specification given in Schedule of
Rates enclosed on FOT Site basis inclusive of all applicable taxes & duties.
TAXES & DUTIES
FOT site prices are inclusive of packing & forwarding, freight,transit insurance
and all taxes and duties i.e VAT@ 12.5%.The prices will remain firm and fixed till
complete execution of contract except for statutory variations. Incase of change in

CONTRACT VALIDITY & COMPLETION PERIOD

The rates shall be valid for a period of two years. The first lot is to be
delivered within 4 weeks from the date of intimation/PO and the balanced is as per
delivery schedule.

PRICE REDUCTION SCHEDULE
PRS Shall be levied @1/2% per complete week of delay subject to a maximum (ceiling)
of 5% of the total order value for the undelivered supply unless such failure is
due to Force majeure or attributable to the purchaser.

CONTRACT PERFORMANCE BANK GUARANTEE
You shall furnish the contract performance Bank guarantee equivalent to 10% of the
order value within 21 days of the receipt of the purchase order. The bank guarantee
towards contract performance shall be in the currency of the contract and shall be
valid for a period of 90 days beyond guarantee/warranty period.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT
Specifications & Scope
1. NZS & NGV O-ring is having a chemical composition of Acrylonitrile - Butadiene
rubber +chloroprene rubber, having dimensional details of (7.5X 2) mm & (9X2.5) mm

respectively.
2. Vendor have to confirm MOC of rubber i.e. chloroprene rubber through govt
approved lab during first delivery at IGL stores and further as and when required
basis to confirm the MOC.
3. Shore hardness should be as per ASTMD 1415-88 (for NGV & NZS O-ring)
4. Specific gravity should be as per ASTMD792.
5. Tensile strength & Elongation should be as per ASTMD 412-92/A.
6. Ash content should be as per ASTMD 1506-99 & ASTMD 4574-06.
7. Compression set % ( 25% deflection at 70 deg C for 22 hrs )as per ASTMD 395
should be 7%.
8. Vendor has to confirm all tests through govt approved lab during first delivery
at IGL stores and further as and when required basis to confirm the MOC.
9. All above test certificate should be attached with every lot of delivery.
10. O- ring supplied should be grinded both from inside as well as outside.
11. O- ring (NZS) should at least give a life of minimum 400 filling cycle on new
NZS nozzle. If in any lot of supply the consumption rate of O-ring increases, IGL
hold the right to reject the whole lot.
12. NZS O-ring should be supplied in aluminium packets of 250 pcs . date of
manufacturing expiry date along with PO no. & IGL item code must be mention on
every packet.
13. Required o- rings should be suitable for continuous working temp. upto 250 bar
and 65 deg. C.
14. IGL engineer in charge holds the right to inspect the o-ring manufacturing
procedure any time and hold the right to reject the whole lot in case of any
discrepancy.
15. Supplier shall provide class room training twice a year on rubber technology
for 2 days.
