After meny hours of measuring and calculating. The rear wishbone geometry is ready for some
hardwear. I started to make a fixture in wooden board. Drilled holes where the uniballs where
located. Then it was only to TIG weld it together.. I use real welding nuts which I push into the
steeltubes ends.
Here the wishbones and the toe strut is in place on the vehicle.
I started the rear subframe build by making steel plates that I bolted to the rearest
mountings of the front frame. Then I TIG welded together some 32x2mm steel tube.
This is the result when its about half done. The diff is testmounted.
Now the frame is 90% done. I made some more reinforcements and the wishbone brackets is in
place too.
The rear brakes is a very interesting capitel. I decided I wanted the brakes close to the
diff to reduce the weight on the uprights. The space is very limited to fit any kind of
brake system around the rear frame. So I had to take a moment to make it right. I
machined billet brake caliper mounts of 50x50mm 6061 T6 alu. The Calippers comes
from Honda CBR 900RR -98.
Im using 300mm Honda CBR 900RR brake rotors which Ive mounted on the outside
of the inner driveshaftjoints.

Left side. The exhaust system will be replaced to prevent overheating the left
brakerotor.
The diff isnt centered because the chain have to line up with the front sprocket.
Rear uprights
After a couple of hours of TIG welding and fabrication. The upright is almost done.
