Someofthemostpowerfulspellsarecastusingwandmotions.Spokenspellscanalsobeverypowerful.Inrealitythey
aretwoformsofthesamekindofmagic.Whencombinedtogethertheirpowerismultiplied.Someofthemostpowerful
magicknowniscreatedwiththecombinationofutteranceandwandmotion.
Tobecomeproficientinwandusageyoumustlearntheconnectionbetweenthemwaneme(wand)spellandthe
phoneme(uttered)spell.

Whenacircularmwanemefollowsaflickmwanemeitisimportanttomakeyourwandflowsmoothlyfromtheflickinto
thecicle(s).Forexamplewiththe"GAY"spellnoticehowthe

Alsonoticethatthedirectionthatthewandismovingattheendofthespellisdeterminedbythedirectionofthe
precedingflick.Thisistrueforanyspellwhichendswithacircularmwanemethewandmotionfollowingthelastcircleis
determinedbytheprecedingflickmwaneme.
Whenaflickmwanemefollowsacircularmwanemetheflickdeterminesthestartingdirectionofthemotionofthecircle.

Thisiscommon.Acircularmwanemebetweentwoflickmwanemescontainsatleastone,two,orthreecircles.For
examplethe and mwanemesarealwaysrepresenedbyatleastone(butlessthantwo)fullcircles,the
mwanemebyatleasetwo(butlessthanthree)fullcircles,andthe mwanemebyatleastthree(butlessthanfour)full
circles.Thisisalsoillustratedbythe"CHEESE"spell

The"CHEESE"spell,whichcontains3phonemes(andtherfore3mwanemes),alsodemonstratesthatthewandmotion

Holdyourwandoutinfrontofyou,eitherhorizontalorslightlytiltedup.
Beforecastingaspellbesuretowakeyourwandupbywavingitbackandforthuntilthemagicbeginstoglow
outofit.
Themagicglowshouldfaceupwards.
Tobeginthespelltapyourwandonceonafirmhorizontalsurface(yourfingerwillworkinapinch).
Aftertappingyourwandyoumustbalanceyourself(andyourwand).Whenyourwandisfeelingbalancedjustthe
tipofthewandwillglow.Ifmorethanjustthetipisglowingthenyourwandisnotyetfeelingbalancedtry
rockingitslowlysothatitfeelscomfortable.

Whenyouarefinishedcastingthespellquietlyholdyourwandlevelsothatthewandknowsyouhavecompleted
thespellandthereisnomoretofollow.Thetipofyourwandwillglowsteadilyuntilitrealizesthespellis
complete.
