- Under the supervision of my advisor, Dr. Jake Kurczek, I evaluated
and rated data that had been previously collected by another
research assistant in regards to narrative capabilities in response to
visual stimuli prompts. Additionally, I analyzed the results and
presented the correlations and results that we found.

project that conjoins concepts of autobiographical narrative and
cognitive reappraisal. My duties included researching previous
literature in the field and formatting a research report for

October 2016- present
- I am a crisis stabilization counselor for a 24-hour crisis house in
Dubuque, Iowa. My responsibilities include crisis intervention,
observation, supervision and counseling of clients. I also aid in
providing quality rehabilitation services.
Intern
Lutheran Services in Iowa
August 2015- June 2016
- During my internship, I observed therapy sessions, obtained
medical histories, aided in creating session notes, discussed
treatment plans as well as therapeutic techniques with licensed
therapists. I also provided secretarial work through answering
telephone calls, redirecting client needs and scheduling
appointments.
