Purpose: In Ethnic Studies we will examine the languages, family


structures, spiritual traditions, economic and social issues, political
aspirations, and values of diverse groups of people. We will celebrate the
cultural diversity of peoples past and present. We will incorporate
discussion, film-viewing, and activities that allow us to learn more about
our identities and the cultures of our country and the world.
