General Comments
The following guide is demonstrated on a bike with a
Mustang seat. The instructions are the same for an
OEM seat. The torque wrench values have been left
out because the screws involve Hex screw bits that
easily round the screw head when torqueing up.
Furthermore, there is no load placed on the screws so
it is safe to just tighten sensibly.

What you need before hand

• Mild non-abrasive cleaning detergent 2. On the left and right hand side of the drivers

2. Leave it to dry. Once dry rub some neutral
leather wax, such as Dubbin wax into the
seams and across the leather. This will help
keep moisture out of the foam and help
improve the life of the leather.

Removal

What you need before hand

• Screw driver with 5Hex bit
• Copper grease- if desired
Steps
1. Remove the pillion seat first. Unscrew the
screw at the back of the seat using a
screwdriver with a 5Hex bit.
Installation
3. Slide the drivers’ seat into the lug under the
tank and line up holes on the sides.
4. Place a bit of copper grease on the threads of
the screws if desired and tighten sensibly using
the 5Hex bit and adaptor.
5. Then slide the pillion seat into position and
tighten the rear screw sensibly using the same
5Hex and adaptor.
