CLASSROOM MISSION STATEMENT

At the beginning of the year I would create a circle map with my students, to set up
our purpose in the classroom. I would then work with my students to put each idea
listed in the circle map into categories. From there I would take the categories and
we would come up with a list of reasons. I would put the final set of reasons for
being there and put them on an anchor chart, on the classroom wall. This is a good
way to include students creating a classroom expectation/purpose.
