    Sight Words
    Write each word on a 3x5 note card. Practice daily with your child until
    they can read each one. The goal is to be able to read them upon
    sight, quickly, without needing to sound them out. The next step is
    teaching them to spell/write them. For some children its easiest to
    learn to read and write them at the same time. Others might need to
    learn to read them first and then work on spelling/writing them. Once
    your child can read and write them send this note back to school with
    your initials.
