Check all data plate information against data sheets, approved drawings and vendor
documentation to be checked

Review regularly equipment preservation records

Check for any mechanical damage and record.

Check all associated E & I cables (vendor & project), JB's, marshalling boxes are
identified, installed, glanded, terminated as shown on the approved vendor / project
drawings. Ensure power& control lug type terminations have been crimped correctly

Check CT's, surge capacitor, lightning arrestor, all associated wiring installed as shown
on the approved drawings

Check all labelling and warning signs are correct and visible

Check Earthing installed to project design / specification

Check Unit lighting / ventilation / correctly installed

Check all associated instrumentation is correctly installed

Heaters correctly installed, record insulation resistance;

Check all unit compartments / enclosures for cleanliness

Mark up installation As Built drawings

Record any defects on a system punchlist
