Brief history:
The Little Sisters of Saint Theresa
of the Child Jesus was founded by
Fr.Vincent Lebbe on Oct 3, 1929 in
Anguo City, Hebei Province of China. In
1949, communist took over China. All

congregations were dissolved and forced to

close. In 1951, two French sisters of CST were
driven out of China and settled in Taiwan.
In 1956, the congregation was approved to
resume by the Holy See. Today our
congregation exists not only around Taiwan, but

also in China, Vietnam,

America and Canada.
