PREFORM
PET resin is melted at high temperature
and is injected under pressure into a mold
in order to mold a preform.
PET, one type of plastic, is short for
polyethylene terephthalate.

STRECH -BLOW
The preform is then transported to a blow mold shaped
like the finished product, and while a stretch rod stretches
the preform, high-pressure air blows it out into the finished
shape .
By varying the shape of the blow molds, a wide variety
of container shapes can be molded.
With stretch-blow system, PET bottles have:
