Grid background

Transformer ratio is 22000 : 300 Volt which is 74.33 : 1 Volt

The PEA overvoltage limit is 23100 volt which correspond to 314.8 Volt of
inverter output which the output voltage of inverter not reach to 314.8 volt while
voltage at feed in point over the limit already (23100 volt).

Background voltage over the limit 0.9 % and a bit oscillate

Voltage & Active Power at Feed in Point

Plotting the trend of photo capture when plant running

The 2 led line and 2 green line
show the same active power feed
into grid but the voltage are
difference

This trend show the voltage and

active power not direct variation
with active power in partial
condition which respond to the
balance of grid reactive power
theory

Solution

Adjust parameter of phi angle from 3 degree to 0 degree due to the leading
power factor (Positive reactive) increase the voltage level

Record the result

Max reactive -480 kVAR

Max Voltage are nearly the limit

Limitation

Reactive power drawn out not over -500 kVAR

Summary

The grid voltage over the limit when peak power

The voltage limit by grid owner (PEA) 20.9 23.1 kV but by switch gear tripping
limit is 19.7 24.2 kV

The reactive power balance is the best solution for control grid voltage which
trending is

Reactive power demand > Reactive power supply

= Grid under voltage

Reactive power demand < Reactive power supply

= Grid Over voltage

We can reduced the grid voltage at feed in point by zero or negative phi degree
which negative or positive may a bit effect to active power production.

Adjustment the phi angle ref to 0 degree is the last action which result show the
voltage a bit reduced of the voltage and the reactive power not over -500 kVAR at
peak power
