Pune
Municipal
Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the said Planning Authority) under its General Body
Resolution No.588, dated 7/01/2013 and No. 757, dated 4/03/2013, has published the Revised Draft
Development Plan for the original limit of Pune Municipal Corporation (hereinafter referred to as
the said Draft Development Plan) under Section 26 (1) of the Maharashtra Regional & Town
Planning Act, 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) which has appeared in extra Ordinary
Maharashtra Government Gazette, in Pune Division, Part - 1 supplement, dated 28/03/2013;
And whereas, after considering the suggestions and objections to the said Draft
Development Plan received within stipulated period, the Planning Committee appointed under
Section 28 (2) of the said Act, has submitted its Report to the said Planning Authority on
13/02/2015;
And whereas, Since the Planning Authority did not take any decision on the Report of the
Planning Committee submitted to it and did not submit the said Draft Development Plan to the
Government for Sanction within stipulated time limit, the Government of Maharashtra in Urban
Development Department vide Order No.TPS-1815/209/CR-69/15/UD-13 ,dated 27.03.2015, has
appointed a Committee U/S 162 of the said Act under the Chairmanship of Divisional
Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune, to complete the legal procedure required under the said Act &
to submit the said Development Plan to the Government for sanction under Section 30 of the said
Act, (hereinafter referred to as the said Committee );
And whereas, after considering the Report of Planning Committee and other matters related
to it, the said Committee has made some modifications & changes to the said Draft Development
Plan under Section 28(4) of the said Act, which were published in Maharashtra Government,
Gazette, Dated 26/09/2015 on Page No.9 to 20 before submitting the said Development Plan for
Sanction to Government under Section 30 of the said Act, (hereinafter referred to as the said
modification);
And whereas, in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 30 of the Said
Act, the said Committee, has submitted the Said Draft Development Plan, along with the said
modifications to the Government of Maharashtra for Sanction vide its Marathi letter
No.../28841//1710, dated the 26/09/2015 excluding the Draft Development Control

Regulations, which were then submitted by the said Committee vide Marathi letter
No.../28(4)///1992, dated the 10/11/2015;
And whereas, the Director of Town Planning, vide his Marathi letter No. ...

dated the 25/04/2016, has submitted his Report on the said Draft

Development Plan and vide Marathi letter No. .. ..-

the 22/12/2016 on the Draft Development Control Regulations;
And whereas, in accordance with Sub-Section (1) of Section 31 of the Said Act, vide
Notification No. TPS-1815/209/CR-69/15/D.P.PUNE/SANCTION/UD-13,dated:05/01/2017 , the State
Government has sanctioned a part of the Draft Development Plan of Pune Municipal Corporation
with modifications as specified in SCHEDULE-A (as SM-1, SM-2,----etc.), excluding the
substantial modifications (as EP- 1, EP-2. -----etc.) as specified in SCHEDULE-B appended with
the Notification;
And whereas, the Substantial Modifications proposed by the Government are excluded
from the Said Draft Development Plan and shown on the Plan verged in Pink color and marked as
excluded part i.e. as EP-1, EP-2, ---- etc.;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 31 (1) of the Said Act
and all other powers enabling it on that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby:a) Gives Notice for inviting suggestions and objections from any person in respect of the proposed
substantial modifications as specified in the SCHEDULE-B appended hereto, within the period of
one month from the date of publication of this Notice in the Official Gazette.
b) Appoints the Joint Director of Town Planning, Pune Division, Pune as the Officer under
Section 31 (2) of the Said Act, to hear all the persons filing suggestions and objections as stated in
(a) above within the stipulated period and to submit his report thereupon to the Government for
further necessary action.
Only the suggestions or objections regarding substantial modifications mentioned in
SCHEDULE-B, that may be received by the Joint Director of Town Planning, Pune Division, Pune,
having his office at Survey No.74/2, Sarang Society, above Bank of Maharashtra, Sahakar Nagar,
Pune-9, within the stipulated period of one month from the date of publication of this Notice in the
Official Gazette, shall be considered.
Copy of this Notice along with SCHEDULE-B and the Revised Development Plan
showing the proposed substantial modifications shall be made available for inspection to general
public at the following offices during office hours on all working days.:1) The Director of Town Planning, Central Building, near Pune Railway Station, Maharashtra State,
Pune.
