Working Instructions for End of Contract Crew Evaluation

Go to Crew / Crew Evaluation


1. Click on New Individual Report
2. Add Seaman window will appear
3. Pls select crew member to be evaluated and click on the Add button and then OK
4. New window with the individual report will open
5. Make sure correct Master's and Cheng's names appear (if wrong names , pls select
the correct ones from the drop down window).
6. Select the first field - "Safety" and type the evaluation number (1 is the highest
mark and 5 is the lowest). You can alternatively select the marks from the drop down
list at the bottom of the reports.
7. Select the next tab Professionalism and enter the next mark. Continue like this for
the rest if the tabs and update accordingly with 1 to 5 marks. Pls note that there are
Comments fields under each mark, where pls put your additional comments re
seaman's performance.
8. Pls enter you general comments in Master's Comments field as well.
9. Note that we have added a field "Seaman Agrees" with potential answers YES and
NO. The idea of the report is to print it out after all evaluations have been entered and
to present it to the seaman. If the seaman has any objections they should be written in
the hard copy of the report and signed. Then using the Edit option in the report these
comments should be added, together with the "Seaman Agrees" status in the original
report in the Crew Evaluation Module.
14. If the report is completed, pls click on the < Mark 'To Send' selected report and >
then click on the Update Office.
15. A file with .cer extension should be generated in C:\danpres\onboard\out. Pls start
sat session to export it to office.
