Specialty Polymer Coatings, Inc.

(SPC) is proud to announce that it has
supplied approx 126,000 litres of SP-2888
R.G. liquid epoxy brush grade coating to the
Alliance Pipeline Project. The coating was
applied in a single application at a minimum
dry film thickness of 20 mils (1000 microns) to
the girth welds on 594 miles (956 kilometers)
of 36 diameter pipeline in the United States
and 495 miles (797 kilometers) of 36 and 42
diameter pipeline in Canada. This constitutes
60% of the girth weld coating for this project.
In addition, 20,500 litres of SP-3888 spray
grade was used to coat valves, hot bends and
slip bores for this prestigious project.
