All figures are rounded to the nearest thousand.

Before July 1, 2015, the figures above are for the combined entity of the Shrine and the friary. The last two columns represent figures for only
the Shrine. The Friary was split off as a separate entity on July 1, 2015.
The revenue figure for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2015, includes $687,000 in donated services as a result of the mechanical overhaul
project. This is the proper financial accounting for those services.
The Shrine tends to have larger Revenue and Expenses in the first half of the fiscal year, so we should not necessarily expect the results from
July to December of 2016 to be duplicated during the period January to June of 2017.

THANK YOU!
We are profoundly grateful to each of you who supported the Shrine in 2016. Every day hundreds of people walk through our
front door in need of Gods grace and Gods love. Your financial gifts were really a beacon of hope to those who thirst for
compassion, charity, friendship, or an overall sense of welcome. Thank you for making a difference.
As we worked diligently to let everyone know how important year-end gifts are to the Shrine, a donor offered us an on-line
gift challenge. If we reached 100 new on-line gifts before the end of the year, the donor would make a $10,000 gift. I am
pleased to report that we met the challenge! At 11:39 p.m. on December 31, our 106th gift was received. The $30,685 we
raised with on-line gifts in the final days of 2016 became $40,685. Thank you!
Did you know that our development office sends out a monthly electronic newsletter? This cost effective publication is a
wonderful opportunity to communicate with our friends and donors in a timelier fashion. If you would like to receive the
monthly on-line newsletter, please complete the form below and check Shrine e-newsletter. Then return the form to the
front desk in the 1st floor lobby or mail it in. We will add you to the distribution list.
May Gods blessings be yours in this New Year. Thank you for making a difference. Please continue to pray for all those
whom we serve with love and compassion. If you have questions about making a gift, please contact me directly.
Sincerely,
Maryanne Rooney-Hegan, Director of Development

please provide your contact information. You may remove yourself from any or all of our mailing lists at any time. It is
our policy that we never sell our lists to anyone.
