GTUs PG Research Centre for Financial Services (CFS) is organizing a Faculty Development
Program (FDP) on Financial Services for the faculties of GTU MBA affiliated Institutes during
October 21-23, 2016.
This is first of its kind of FDP, where the faculties of GTU will explore the practical know-how
about the financial industry and financial services. All the sessions will be delivered by the
financial industry experts during the FDP will be applied in nature. CFS will be calling the
experts from all the relevant domains of the financial services sector like SEBI, Stock
Exchange(s), Banks, Private Equity, Microfinance, Agro Finance, etc.
The proposed focused areas to be covered during the FDP are as follows:
Development in Banking Sector
Importance of Microfinance and its scope
Role of Private Equity in funding
New Accounting Standards and its scope
Agro Finance and its importance in rural areas
IPO/SME Listing procedures
Credit Rating agencies and its significance
SEBI and its procedural aspects
Procedural aspects of Stock Exchanges
Hand-on experience of Live Trading Platform
Faculties who want to sharpen their knowledge and skills into the financial services sector are
cordially invited to attend this three days FDP at GTU. There are very limited seats, hence
seats will be allotted at the first-come-first-serve basis. All the participants will be allotted a
Certificate of Participation.
