FIRST SEMESTER
PAPER I (50 MARKS)
PART-I: General Palmistry
25 Marks
-Origin and History of Palmistry.
- Pioneers of Palmistry in India and the west,Important Books and Authors.
-Right time & right place for palm reading, Instruments for palm reading.
-Uses of Palmistryin General Prediction, Medical and Forensic sciences
-Advantages of Palmistry over other systems of prediction.
-Palmistryand Planets.
- Procedure for taking palm prints, different Methods of taking palm prints.
- Which hand is to be studied, the Left hand or the Right hand or both?
- Who can become a palmist; Code and conduct/responsibility of a palmist.
- The meaning of terms Cheirognomy, Cheirosophy, Cheirology, Cheiromancy
PART-II: Fundamentals of Palmistry 25 Marks
-Introduction to the hand: various fingers and mounts, Classification of hands in to 7 types.
- The colour, texture and flexibility of the hand, Hair and spots on the hand
-Study of Fingers: Smooth and knotted fingers, Types of finger tips, High, Low and Medium Setting of
Fingers, Spacing between fingers, Comparative length of fingers and Palm, inclination of fingers,
Phalanges of fingers, etc
-Study of Major lines: Life Line, Heart Line, Head line, Fate line, Sun Line,Line of Love and
Marriage,Children lines,The Via Lasciva, etc
-Study of Travel lines, Lines of influence, simian line, girdle of Venus, ring of Solomon, the mystic cross,
medical stigmata, Rascettes , Line of intuition, etc
- Different types of loops in the lines such as island, square, Triangle, rectangle, etc, break in the lines,
supporting or guarding lines.
- Study of Mounts: Identification of the mounts of Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Lower
and upper Mars, pure mounts and their strength, effect of displaced mounts.
-Study of effects of various Signs, Symbols and marks in the hand such as star, cross, Temple,circle,
wheel, fish, conch, ship, flag, elephant, grille, island, dots, trident, lotus, etc.
-Study of thumb: Its phalanges, shape of the tip (supple, waisted, conic, square, etc), its flexibility and
stiffness and their effects.

Material areas, Conscious, Unconscious & Subconscious zones, etc
- Predictions through Bracelets /Rascettes.
- Case study of the Hands of 25 Famous personalities.
PART-II: Applied Palmistry

25 Marks

- Matching forMarriage through Palmistry

-Detection of criminal tendencies from Palmistry
- Indications in the Hands of certain typical professionals such as Shilpis, Artists, soldiers, Doctors,
Engineers, Saint or seer, Writers, actors, Murderers, Teachers, working hand, IAS and other high level
government officers, Agriculturist, Businessman, Judge, Lawyer, Musician, Nurse, Philosopher,
Politician, Scientist, Sportsman, etc,
PAPER IV (50 MARKS)
PART-I: Basic Astrology for the Palmist

25 Marks

- The Horoscope and its components , Significations of Planets, Signs and Houses, distributions of 27
stars, Casting of Horoscope, Importance of Lagna.
- Detection of Lagna from the hand.

PART-II: Principles of Medical Palmistry (Basic only)

- General Indications of diseases on nails , Line of Health

- General Indications of diseases on the Palm from the Colour, texture, Moles and marks on the Palm
- Indications for some common diseases like Lunacy, Heart problem, Liver trouble, Asthma, Apoplexy,
brain disorders, Anaemia, BP, Cancer, Diabetes, eye and ear troubles, Paralysis, TB, etc
