Dear Principal

I am writing to you in regards to your open teaching position at your school. I saw the job
opening on your countys website and would love the opportunity to interview to be a member of
your school.
I will graduate from Bridgewater College with a degree in Liberal Arts and a teaching licensure.
I have already taken and passed all of my teacher certification exams for Elementary Education.
I love working with kids. During my college breaks and summer I work at Merritt Academy with
the preschoolers as well as coaching a travel lacrosse team for high schoolers. I hope to continue
coaching while also teaching at the same time.
During my student teaching experience I worked with a wide range of students. I worked with
ESL students as well as special education students. By the end of the first quarter all of my
students were reading on grade level. I integrated technology in many ways such as smartboard
games, iPads for numerous uses and using google view to see 360 degree pictures to go along
with the information I was teaching. I plan on continuing to use technology whenever possible in
my own classroom.
