Introduction
Service delivery in the healthcare industry can be benefited from automation as
technologically advanced applications are enhancing the sustainability in service delivery
process. This assignment will discuss the benefits by providing of two examples.
Discussion
Effective adoption and implication of technologically advanced applications can enhance
the ERP system or enterprise resource planning system of a healthcare organization (Buchbinder
& Shanks, 2012). The example of Apollo Gleneagles can be adopted in this assignment. The
organizational management of Apollo Gleneagles has adopted and applied advanced information
communication technology solutions in order to enhance effective payroll, human resource,
accounting, and material management function. Aggressive automation in the business operation
process has helped the organization to bring efficiency in overall process. Moreover, it is also
important to state that technologically advanced ERPO system has helped the healthcare
organization to maintain its leading market position.
It is also important to mention that effective automation can help a healthcare
organization to enhance effective customer service management process as it ensures significant
CRM (Buchbinder & Shanks, 2012). The example of Fortis Hospital can be mentioned here. The
organizational management of Fortis has adopted and implemented effective and most efficient
ICT software in the service delivery and healthcare operation process. It is highly important for
the organizational leaders to take care of the needs and satisfaction level of the patients and the
family members of those patients. However, it is highly effective to mention that the
administration department of Fortis Hospital always tracks the needs by effective follow up after

the service delivery. This automation helps the organizational management to focus on gain
effective ant important customer loyalty aspect. Apart from this, effective automation is also
helping the organizations to gain effective stakeholder support.
Conclusion
It is clear from the above discussion that leading super-speciality hospitals, such as Fortis
and Apollo has integrated high IT automation in service delivery process to enhance effective
ERP and CRM process.
