SCENE 1
FADE IN:
INT. BEDROOM

DAYTIME

KARINA (16), wakes up to the sound of her alarm, which is

coming from her phone on the bedside table. She reaches
for her phone to turn off the alarm before checking her
phone. She is Caucasian, with long, blonde hair and a
slim build. She is wearing a light-coloured top and
matching shorts.
KARINA opens up WhatsApp, and sees no new messages from
her boyfriend, HAYDEN. KARINA types a message on her
phone, reading it out as she types it.
KARINA (V.O)
Good morning, babe. See you soon.
KARINA smiles at the background picture of HAYDEN on her
phone. She jumps out of bed and walks to the desk. She
turns on the speaker, then turns around and walks towards
the wardrobe.
CUT TO:
KARINA takes out a black top, a dark pair of jeans, and
her necklace with a heart-shaped pendant hanging from the
chain.
CUT TO:
KARINA applies a red lipstick and mascara as the music
plays.
CUT TO:
KARINA turns the radio off and reaches for her phone from
the bedside table, and dials HAYDENS number. She gets no
response.
CUT TO:
KARINA walks over to her bed to grab her black leather
jacket and runs down the stairs.

SCENE 2

EXT. RESIDENTIAL ROAD

DAYTIME

KARINA walks down her road towards the nearest bus stop,
and waits.
CUT TO:
EXT. BUS STOP

DAYTIME

KARINA gets on the bus.

SCENE 3
EXT. RESIDENTIAL ROAD

DAYTIME

KARINA gets off the bus and starts walking down the road
next to it until she gets to HAYDENs house.
CUT TO:
EXT. DRIVEWAY

DAYTIME

KARINA knocks on the door and waits. There is no answer,

so she reaches into her pocket, takes out her phone, and
dials HAYDENS number.
CUT TO:
HAYDEN doesnt pick up, so KARINA leaves him a message.
KARINA
Hey, Im outside and wondering where you are. Hurry
because I really wanted to get there while the weather
was nice outside. Call me back when you get this, ok?
HAYDEN (17) appears behind KARINA as she speaks, and is
about to tap her shoulder when she turns around. HAYDEN
is also Caucasian and is taller than KARINA, with a slim
build and short, brown hair. He is wearing a white top
with a jean jacket, along with acid-washed jeans and
pristine white trainers that looked unworn.
CUT TO:
KARINA
Hayden! Gosh, you scared me. Come one, lets go.
CUT TO:

HAYDEN smiles and nods his head in response.
KARINA
Well come on then, unless you want to carry me on your
back because youre so chivalrous.
KARINA laughs as she teases HAYDEN. He shakes his head
and kisses KARINA on the cheek before he holds onto her
hand.
CUT TO:
EXT. DOORWAY

DAYTIME

The front door of HAYDENs house opens and his sister

walks out. She is tall with a curvy figure, and her long,
brown hair surrounding her face. She is wearing a yellow
sundress, with a dark cardigan and sandals.
CUT TO:
She looks around and sees the pair walking down the road.
CUT TO:
SCENE 4
EXT. PARK

AFTERNOON

KARINA and HAYDEN are walking through the park, and

KARINA is speaking while HAYDEN listens.
CUT TO:
KARINA and HAYDEN sit on a bench, gazing lovingly into
each others eyes while KARINA continues to talk.
CUT TO:
A teenage girl stares at KARINA and HAYDEN as they walk
past the couple on their way towards the riverbank.
CUT TO:
HAYDEN notices and glances back at them while KARINA
continues to speak.
CUT TO:

HAYDEN holds KARINAS hand as she walks along an
overturned tree trunk.
CUT TO:
KARINA and HAYDEN get on a bus together.
FADE OUT

SCENE 5
EXT. CEMETERY

EVENING

KARINA and HAYDEN are walking towards the arch of the

cemetery.
CUT TO:
KARINA sees a flower stall and runs towards it.
CUT TO:
KARINA is holding a red rose towards her nose, smiling.
KARINA
These are your favourite.
CUT TO:
HAYDEN smiles at KARINA before brushing her hair to the
side, and kissing her.
CUT TO:
KARINA walks slowly towards a gravestone. She sheds a
tear as she talks to herself.
KARINA
Why, why did you leave me? Dont you love me anymore?
KARINA looks at HAYDENs grave as she starts to cry.
CUT TO:

SCENE 6 (FLASHBACK)
EXT. RESIDENTIAL ROAD

DAYTIME

HAYDENS sister opens the door and looks around to see

KARINA. She is talking to herself.
CUT TO:
SCENE 7 (FLASHBACK)
EXT. PARK

AFTERNOON

The teenage girl walks past KARINA in the park. She is

talking to herself.
CUT TO:
SCENE 8 (PRESENT)
EXT. CEMETERY

EVENING

KARINA reaches into her pocket and takes out HAYDENS

funeral programme. She lays it down in front of his grave
with the rose.
KARINA (V.O)
Tell me you love me?
HAYDEN (V.O)
Always.
CUT TO:
KARINA falls on her knees in front of the grave, and
breaks down in tears.
CUT TO:
KARINA
Hayden, please just talk to me and tell me you love me.
Please? Hayden TELL ME YOU LOVE MEEE!
CUT TO:
HAYDENS GHOST appears behind KARINA and kisses her head.
