Hailey: This is Hailey and Taylor.
Taylor: With christmas coming up in a couple weeks we decided to do a christmas themed
podcast.
Hailey: In this podcast well be talking about all things christmas.
Taylor: During the Christmas season, buying the right gifts is crucial. Knowing what to give who
can be difficult to do.
Hailey: Yes like when giving to close friends and family try to give more personal things.
Taylor: Stay away from gift cards!
Hailey: For your neighbors baked goods or cookies would be good.
Taylor: When buying for people at your workplace, gift cards would be a perfect thing to get
them.
Hailey: When christmas shopping be on the lookout for the perfect gift for each person on your
list.

Hailey(overwhelmed): I cant believe how much these christmas presents are going to cost!
Taylor(excited): I know! Can you believe that the average person spends around $700 on
christmas gifts each year? Thats crazy! (Scream sound effect 5 seconds)

Taylor: Hailey, what are your family christmas traditions?
Hailey:On christmas eve, after mass, my family goes home and watches christmas movies.
Then christmas morning, we open our presents and then go to my grandmas and have a big
meal, and open more presents. How about you?

Taylor: Christmas eve we have my grandparents come to our house for supper and each kid
picks one gift to open. Then on christmas morning we wake up really early and open all of our
gifts, and have breakfast with my grandparents. What movies do you watch on christmas eve?
Hailey: Usually The Polar Express or Home Alone. Home Alone is my favorite christmas movie.
Taylor: We dont usually watch christmas movies on christmas eve, but my favorite one is How
the Grinch Stole Christmas. Me and my sister watch it together and quote almost every line.
That is one of my favorite christmas memories.
