Rizals Life, Works and Writings

3 units
Rizals Life, Works and Writings is now a mandated subject pursuant to Commission on Higher Education Memorandum Order No.
59, series of 1996. This course is organized to explore the laudable life lived by Dr. Jose Rizal. It recognizes Rizals illustrious role in
the development of Filipino consciousness that eventually evolved into national identity. The course likewise examines the impact of
Rizals influences on the life lived by the Filipinos during his time as well as its continuous effects among the lives of the Filipino at
present.

Pursuant to Republic Act 1425 passed by the Philippine Congress on June 12, 1965, and with the Commission on Higher Education
Memorandum Order No. 59, series of 1996, the study of Life, Works and Writings of Dr. Jose Rizal will enable the students to:
