The line specs are 24-pr-4-3545-A10A.

2. PIBU valve check

Details regarding valve with tag no STRV 0303 was asked by Babu Sir, who gave
a slip which showed that the date of testing was 12-10-2016 and the test was a
failure. On further enquiry with the PIBU technician, it was revealed that failure
happened due to seat damage and loose guide between disk and seat. The
defective valve was taken back by the STF operative, Mr Johny Jacob. It belonged
to area 2-offsite

3. CDU II line check

The IRN of the corresponding line is 15/CDU II/ 1424. The line carries acid gas
from sour water vessel SWV-23 to the crude heater 22. The service being sour
contains acid gas which is burned along with fuel oil in the furnace. It is one of
the lines in CDU II having a jacketing as per the diagram but actual inspection
showed insulation. The line diameter is 3 and the specs is A19A. The inspection
revealed lack of insulation of length about 2m in multiple areas. The inspection
also discussed the role of CML condition monitoring locations in pipelines to
check the rate of corrosion over service period.

4. YT 280 check
The back chipping of shell course 1-vertical joint 1 (S1V7) was inspected. The
visual of S1V8, S1V9 and S1V10 were also carried out. The visual of S1V7
external weld was also performed. The internal S1V6 weld was also checked for
visual but revealed minor problems which were clarified with the contractor.

J1 which contained an 8*150 flange, J4 which featured an inner surface concavity
and J3 which had one undercut and spatter distribution.

7. PIBU check of relief valve

The tag no was UPSV 5571. The valve was used in UB7 which just underwent
RLA. The set pressure being 7 kg/sq. cm. The cdsp was determined at 6.5 kg/sq
cm. The pop test was a success and leak test was performed at 5.9 kg/sq cm.
The valve had no back pressure and hence back pressure test was not done.
Hand popping test was performed at 4.7 kg/sq cm. The seal number is 2901384.

The gauge had a range of 0-16 kg/sq cm. The serial number on the gauge was
EN 837-1.
