    Two samples of PPD Kusapour 3006 additive from Taj Al Malook General Trading LLC were tested in 400N HVI base oil: one without a VI improver and one with a VI improver of 17.03 cSt at 100°C. The sample without the VI improver had a pour point of -24°C, while the sample with the VI improver had a higher pour point of -9°C, indicating the additive is not compatible with the VI improver. The chief chemist concluded the PPD additive Kusapour 3006 is not compatible with their VI improver.
