Math Workshop I program at Tougaloo College during the summer of 2014. The program focuses
on educating minority students about health disparities in black Americans and introducing them
to the field of public health. I received first place (highest average) in Reading, second place in
Math, and Top 7 in Science and Language Arts
2015: Chosen to participate in Mississippis All-State Orchestra at Belhaven University

2015-present: Academic Decathlon, an academic team that competes in several subjects
including social science, art, math, and science
2016-present: Academic Competition, an academic team that focuses on trivia in various
subjects, including art, history, literature, and science.
Community Service
2011-2013: Madison County Library System; volunteered during story times for Summer
Reading programs and to shelve/straighten/organize books; worked under Ms. Elizabeth Turner
2013-2015: Mississippi Childrens Museum; worked both as a camp counselor during
summer camps and as a museum volunteer monitoring various aspects of the museum
2015-present: University of Mississippi Medical Center; worked in Activity Rooms in the
Blair E. Batson Pediatric Hospital to make childrens stay at the hospital more enjoyable; worked
under Ms. Angela Compere
