WATER GELLANT
DESCRIPTION
OILAID-WG-50 is a fast hydrating, organic type gelling agent. OILAID-WG-50 is
compatible with most well stimulation agents.
APPLICATION
OILAID-WG-50 can be used in fresh water, brackish water, seawater and
saturated salt fluids. OILAID-WG-50 is effective when the well application
temperature range is 100 F (38 C) to 225 F (107 C).
OILAID-WG-50 also acts as an effective friction reducer.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
Recommendations for a mixing program should be made only after a complete
well history has been obtained and a thorough study made of all the factors
affecting the stimulation problem.
Normal use concentrations of OILAID-WG-50 are 10-110 lb per 1,000 U.S. gal.
HANDLING
OILAID-WG-50 is essentially non-toxic but inhalation and skin contact may cause
irritation. Remove to fresh air or wash exposed area with soap and water. Goggles
should be worn while handling. Dust is an eye irritant and may cause eye injury.
In case of eye contact, flush with large amounts of water for 15 minutes. If
irritation persists, seek medical attention.
PACKAGING
OILAID-WG-50 is packaged in export quality 50 lb or 25 kg net bags.
