All care providers and service users who are in need of care throughout the UK are
RECLAYS customers. But initially the business will provide the services in London borough
of Red bridge. The care takers and care providers of Red bridge borough will be the
initial target. When the business will become successful, RECLAYS will franchise the
model throughout the UK.
RECLAYS have a clear understanding about the needs of the target market (care
providers and care takers); they require fully vetted and barred care workers/
professionals, with relevant QCF qualification and work experience at a direct reduced
cost, which RECLAYS will fulfill by recruiting and supplying qualified staff to them.

Staff supply at reduced cost.

They have choice to choose their desired workers.
Bank of staffs available to work at any convenient time for them.
Care takers and care providers will choose the service which reduced their cost of hiring
a care giver or professional and make the process simple or hassle free for them. They
prefer service which enables them to hire care givers which suits their budget. Currently
the people are using services of private care providers and domiciliary agencies to hire
care givers which have increased cost.
Care takers/providers need convenient service from where they can hire experienced
care givers/professionals directly without going from place to place. They also want
assurance and protection against any damage from the service provider. RECLAYS will
cater all these needs of customers.

The demand for social care services increasing rapidly as the numbers of older people
and of those with long-term conditions, learning disabilities and mental health conditions
increase.

pg. 12

Estimates predict at least 1.7 million more adults will require social care
over the next 15 years, which could require an increase in the social
care workforce to between 2.1 million and 3.1 million by 2025.

The social care sector provides care services for every community in the UK. Most of the
services provided by the sector are delivered by the independent sector. The social care
sector comprises two sub-sectors:

Adult social care with a workforce of nearly 1.5 million, accounting for 5% of
Englands workforce, and 38,000 employers

Children and young people with an estimated workforce of 2.7 million.

Public and private expenditure within the sector is over 30 billion. At present, care
providers rely heavily on migrant workers (particularly in London and the South-East),
and almost three-quarters of these workers come from outside Europe. Increasing
demand combined with tighter restrictions on non-EU migration could lead to staff
shortages.
It is estimated that the sector will need a minimum of 2 million workers by
2025. Numbers of professional workers (social workers, occupational therapists, nurses
and others) are forecast to increase, but many of these will be nurses in residential
settings.
Government is cutting down the care cost, so many care providers are closing down
because of their overheads, and services like RECLAYS will be welcomed by the
government and enable to provide the same quality service with reduced cost to service
users.

It is likely that social care roles will need to evolve in future years as high-quality
care becomes more important to users and their requirements change.

pg. 13

Direct payments, personalized care and growing integration of health and social
care require new ways of working and a more flexible workforce; however, the
low status and pay of social care workers are risk factors in achieving the changes
needed.
Unlike social workers, care workers are not regulated, but government plans to
introduce a code of conduct and minimum training standards may dispel calls for
a formal regulatory regime.
Information Communication Technologies skills, such as assistive technology,
which will provide a greater role in enabling service users to remain at home.

RECLAYS will use different marketing channels to contact the potential customers. The
target is to supply in average 1000 hours of care service by spending minimum of
500.

Once the ecommerce website will live in February 2016, the business will advertise and
recruit care givers/professionals. The company will give articles in newspapers to make
people aware of RECLAYS service, and where they will find out companys services.
RECLAYS will place job vacancy advertisements to register and recruit care
givers/professionals.

Company distributes the brochures and leaflets to the people in the Red bridge borough
to promote the business. These material include the details of the business like the
services offered and website address from where people use get the service.
Roller banners will also be displayed at different places in Red bridge borough to cater
the attention of large audience.

pg. 14

RECLAYS will contact the potential customers directly to sell the companys service. For
this purpose, invitation letter will be sent to all care providers and council for free service
registration.
The business will team with other public and private care organizations and department
of health and local council to back the business up as it is a community interest
company, which enables to supply quality staff at reduced cost.

Social media will be employed to market the business. Company will sue face book and
Linked in to engage the large number of customers. The social media campaign will help
in attracting customers and gain the understanding of their specific needs.
RECLAYS will launch its service video on you tube so the people become know the exact
services provided by the business and find out how they can use the companys services.
Business can also partner with media for the promotion of the business as it is a unique
social care service provider and create more employment in the market.

The main marketing tool of the RECLAYS will be the companys website. Because its not
just a site its a market place for care givers and care providers. Website provides all the
guidance and information to the users about how they can use companys services.

Word of mouth and customer review will create a big impact then digital marketing and
will increase the number of care takers and service users to use RECLAYS, and based on
that the service growth will be determined. Once the service is successful in one area it
will be expanded to other areas. Determine the needs of each areas customers and
catering these needs will be the marketing strategy for each area.

pg. 15

The company will plan to attend all care related exhibitions, shows and any relevant
events to promote the companys service.

Sales forecasts are based on the assumption that every month the sales of RECLAYS will
be continually increase. As the business gain publicity there is increase in the care
service staff provided by the company. From the third month after the website become
live, business will incur enough sales to cover the operating expenses.

The initial startup investment that consists of set up cots and running expenses for first
three months will be covered by the loan acquired by the business. RECALYS will obtain
loan of 50000 to cover all these expenses.

Wages for the first 6 months include:

The future is towards digitalization and use of high end technology to reduce time and
labor cost; the RECLAYS will pioneer in both and will be successful. They know care very
well and can understand the needs of the service users and care providers and prepare
the quality workforce to deliver care for them.

pg. 27

The project is the long term plan and we see this idea will be used in other professions. If
the given objectives will be achieved, in next five years RECLAYS will build a strong
reputation for quality care provider and as an exit RECLAYS can partner with other big
players in the world and franchise its model worldwide.
