Tim Bantuan Medis Mahasiswa (TBMM) Panacea

Medical Faculty Universitas Gadjah Mada

BMM Panacea is semi-autonom organization in

Medical Faculty of UGM, established on December 5th
1992 based on SEMA FK UGM No
IV/TAP/SMFKUGM/1992. TBMM Panacea is one of the
oldest Student's Medical Team in Indonesia which currently
flags under PTBMMKI stands for Perhimpunan Tim Bantuan
Medis Mahasiswa Kedokteran Indonesia (Indonesia
Association of Students Medical Team) .

anacea was a goddess of healing in Greek mythology.

In medical term Panacea was supposed to be a remedy
that would cure all disease and prolonged life
indefinitely. The name of Panacea was chosen because the
majority of Panacea members were women at that time.

BMM Panacea FK UGM has 21 generations and

hundreds of alumni who spread all around the world.
In February 27th 2005, Keluarga Panacea Gadjah
Mada (Kapagama) was established to unite and
accommodate the alumni.

endidikan Latihan Dasar (DIKLATSAR) TBMM Panacea is annually medical

training, held by TBMM Panacea with the purpose to train medical student of
Medical Faculty about Basic Life Support (BLS), such as Triage,
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Evacuation Techniques etc, as well as Search And
Rescue (SAR). DIKLATSAR consists of 3 sessions: Lecture, Practice and Evacuation.
Lecture session is held 3 times with different materials in each session. The trainer gives
interactive lecture about medical knowledge to participants with communicative
presentation slide which will be practiced later in practice session. The guide trainer
will help group of participant to practice the skills then give them evaluation.
Evacuation is final session which it will evaluate participant knowledge and skills in the
form of practical test systematically.

WORKshop

disaster
management

orkshop Disaster Management is a new program which is held annually by

TBMM Panacea. This program is focus in educating and training the
commoners about disaster management. The workshop takes the whole day,
starting by having interactive triage and traumatology lecture with the senior lecturers
and followed by disaster simulation. The lecturers are experts in the field of Disaster
Management and work in Central General Hospital dr . Sardjito, Yogyakarta.

PHF

Panacea
Humanity
Festival

umanity issue is one of the main concerns of TBMM Panacea and PHF is
created to explore this kind of issue and presented into programs that support
and give contribution to it. Every year PHF takes different themes of humanity
issue such as merapi eruption, difable day and road accident. In 2010 when the merapi
eruption stroke, in order to help the merapi victim TBMM Panacea through PHF held
community health service program, mainly targeting elderly and fun- education
program to the children of merapi victim.

JAMNAS MER

Medical
Emergency
Rescue

edical Emergency Rescue is a joint medical emergency training hosted by

Medical Teams in Yogyakarta (UGM, UMY and UII) and is participated by 10
Students Medical Teams from Yogyakarta and Central Java. Every year It
takes different theme between Vertical Rescue and Water Rescue but it is still open for
chances to deliver new themes. The material of MER is given directly by Regional
Search and Rescue Team Yogyakarta.

Jambore
Nasional

erhimpunan Tim Bantuan Medis Mahasiswa Kedokteran Indonesia

(PTBMMKI) is national association who accommodates Students Medical
Teams in Indonesia and currently has 37 members under it flag.PTBMMKI
holds National Jamboree every year in order to improve medical skills and intensify
mutual relation among Students Medical Team. National Jamboree is a part of bigger
Agenda called Musyawarah Nasional-Jambore Nasional PTBMMKI aka MunasJamnas PTBMMKI, national forum held annually by PTBMMKI.
