JUMPSUIT:
Left leg, back: Cast on 17-19-20 (22-24) sts with 1 thread of each Alpaca colour (=
double thread) on needle size 5mm. Knit garter sts. When piece measures 8 cm inc 1 st at
right side of piece (= inner side of leg) on every 5-6-6 (8-8) row a total of 9-9-11 (12-12)
times = 26-28-31 (33-36) sts. When piece measures 22-25-28 (33-38) cm cast off 4 sts on
inner side of leg, i.e. at the same side where sts were increased earlier = 22-24-27 (29-32)
sts. Knit 6 rows garter sts and put sts on a thread.
Right leg, back: Knit as left leg but with inc and dec the opposite side. Keep sts on
needle.
Back piece: Put legs in on the same needle with decreases towards each other = 44-48-54
(58-64) sts. Continue in garter sts over all sts. When piece measures 46-54-61 (71-79) cm
cast on new sts for sleeves each side on every other row (i.e. at the end of each row) as
follows: 2 sts 1-1-3 (1-1) times, 3 sts 2-2-2 (1-1) times, 4 sts 3-3-3 (6-7) times and then
16-17-17 (20-22) sts 1 time = 116-122-136 (156-174) sts on row. When piece measures
55-64-72 (83-92) cm cast off the middle 14-16-16 (18-18) sts for neck. Dec 1 st on
neckline on next row = 50-52-59 (68-77) sts left on shoulder/sleeve. Cast off loosely
when piece measures 57-66-74 (85-94) cm.
Left front piece: Cast on and knit as described for left leg back, but instead of putting sts
on thread cast on 3 new sts towards mid front for front edge (i.e. at the same side where
dec/inc were made earlier) = 25-27-30 (32-35) sts. Knit garter sts but purl the 5 outermost
sts towards mid front until finished measurements (= front edge). This way the front edge
will be accentuated. When piece measures 46-54-61 (71-79) cm cast on new sts at side
for sleeve as described for back piece = 61-64-71 (81-90) sts. When piece measures 5362-69 (80-88) cm cast off the outermost 5-6-6 (7-7) sts for neck. Dec to shape the

neckline on every other row: 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 2 times = 50-52-59 (68-77) sts left on
shoulder/sleeve. When piece measures 57-66-74 (85-94) cm cast off loosely.
Right front piece : Cast on and knit as left front piece, but mirrored. Remember to make
buttonholes, see explanation above.
Assembly: Pick up approx 40 to 55 sts round the neck with 1 strand of each colour. Knit
4 rows garter sts, at the same time after 1st row make buttonhole over the others on front
edge. Cast off from the wrong side.
Sew shoulder + upper sleeve seams in outermost loop of sts to create a neat seam.
Sew under-sleeve and side seams the same way.
Sew inner leg seams.
Sew the opening between the legs.
Sew on buttons.
Fold approx 4 cm on each sleeve and each leg.

front.
Loosely cast on 70-76-86 (96-104) sts with light mint on needle size 2.5 and knit 10 rows
garter sts (= front band, 1st row = right side). Continue as follows read Knitting tips: *2
rows garter sts over the first 46-50-57 (65-70) sts with lime (i.e. knit from right side over
the first 46-50-57 (65-70) sts, turn the piece and knit back), 2 rows garter sts over the first
64-70-80 (90-98) sts with lime, 2 rows garter sts over all 70-76-86 (96-104) sts with light

(measured where widest), cast off the outermost 36-42-46 (60-70) sts towards lower edge
of sleeve. Put the 41-42-52 (60-65) sts from thread back on needle and insert a marking
thread in piece. Now knit from *-* as described for front piece.
When piece measures 28-31-35 (37-40) cm from marking thread (measured where
widest), put the outermost 41-45-52 (60-65) sts from lower edge on a thread (= side).
Cast on 36-42-46 (60-70) new sts for sleeve and knit as before from *-* as described for
the other sleeve until you have knitted as many rows as on the other sleeve. Cast off the
outermost 36-42-46 (60-70) sts towards lower edge of sleeve and put the 41-45-52 (6065) sts from thread back on needle and continue as before until you have knitted as many
rows as on the other front piece. Change to light mint and knit front band as follows: Knit
4 rows garter sts over all sts, on next row make 3 button holes as follows from the right
side (i.e. from lower edge towards the top): knit 43-47-55 (63-67) garter sts, yo, K2 tog,
knit 10-11-12 (13-15) garter sts, yo, K2 tog, knit 10-11-12 (13-15) sts, yo, K2 tog and
finish with K1. Turn and knit garter sts over all sts. Now knit 4 rows garter sts over all sts
and cast off loosely.
Assembly: Sew the openings under the arms.
Neck: Pick up 1 st in every other row round the neck using needle size 2.5 and light mint
= approx 88-95-102 (106-113) sts. Knit 3 rows garter sts (1st row = wrong side), at the

same time, adjusting number of sts evenly on first row to 62-64-66 (70-72). Cast off in
rib, K1, P1.
Sew on buttons.
TROUSERS:
Right leg: Cast on 52-60-64 (70-74) sts (incl 1 edge st each side) using needle size 2.5
and light mint and knit garter sts. Insert a marking thread when piece measures 4 cm (=
turn-up) and measure piece from here. When piece measures 4 cm inc 1 st each side on
every 1.5-2-2.5 (3-4) cm a total of 8 times = 68-76-80 (86-90) sts. When piece measures
18-21-24 (29-34) cm, cast off 2 sts each side. Now dec 1 st on one side of piece (=
towards mid front) on every other row a total of 2-4-6 (10-12) times = 62-68-70 (72-74)

and finish with K2 and 5 edge sts in garter sts. Continue the Rib like this until piece
measures 3-3-3 (4-4) cm. Now continue in stocking sts with 5 edge sts each side in garter
sts. At the same time on the first row after the Rib adjust number of sts to 118-128-140
(146-158) sts do not dec over the 5 edge sts each side. Insert a marking thread 32-34-38
(39-42) sts in from each side = 54-60-64 (68-74) sts between marking threads on back
piece. When piece measures 5-5-6 (6-6) cm dec 1 st on each side on both marking threads
on every 3-3-3 (4-5) cm a total of 5 times = 98-108-120 (126-138) sts. When piece

Sleeve: Sleeve is knitted round on double pointed needles. Cast on 30-30-36 (36-36) sts
with 2 threads light turquoise. Knit 1 round and continue in Rib with K2, P4 until piece
measures 3-3-3 (4-4) cm. Now continue in stocking sts at the same time adjusting number
of sts to 28-28-30 (30-32) on the first round in stocking sts. When sleeve measures 8-6-6
(6-6) cm, inc 2 sts mid under arm on every 7-4-3 (3-3.5) cm a total of 2-4-5 (7-7) times =
32-36-40 (44-46) sts. When piece measures 18-20-21 (26-30) cm purl 1 round, knit 1
round, purl 1 round and knit 1 round casting off 6-8-8 (8-10) sts mid under arm on the
last round = 26-28-32 (36-36) sts. Put the piece aside and knit the other sleeve.
Yoke: Put sleeves in on the same circular needle as back and front pieces where you cast
off for armholes = 138-148-168 (182-190) sts. Insert a marking thread in all transitions
between sleeves and body pieces (= 4 marking threads).
Read all of the following section before knitting it:
Knit garter sts over all sts and knit 1 row from the wrong side before starting the inc.
Raglan decreases: Dec 1 st on each side of all marking threads (= 8 dec per row) see
Decreasing tips Dec on every 4th row a total of 7-8-8 (9-10) times and then on every
other row 0-0-2 (2-2) times.
Neck: At the same time when piece measures 25-27-31 (41-45) cm put the outermost 8-810 (10-10) sts towards mid front each side on a thread for neck. Now dec to shape the

After all dec for raglan and neck are complete there are 54-56-56 (62-62) sts left on
needle and piece measures approx 30-32-36 (41-45) cm.
Assembly: Pick up approx 80 to 96 sts round the neck (incl sts on threads) on circular
needle size 4mm with 2 threads of turquoise. Knit 1 row from the wrong side and 1 row
from the right side at the same time adjusting number of sts to 54-60-60 (66-66).
Continue in Rib as follows (1st round = wrong side): 5 edge sts in garter sts, *P2, K4*,
repeat from *-* and finish with P2 and 5 edge sts in garter sts. After 1 cm make a
buttonhole over the others on right front edge. Cast off loosely in rib when Rib measures
2 cm.
Sew the openings under the arms. Sew on buttons.

TROUSERS:
Knitting tension: 19 sts x 25 rows with double thread on needles size 4mm in stocking sts
= 10 x 10 cm.

Rib: *K3, P3*, repeat from *-*

Stripes: see diagrams M.1
Increasing tips: Pick up thread from previous row and knit or purl this as it fits into Rib
i.e. knit the first 3 inc sts, purl the next 3 etc.
Start at the top and knit downwards.
Cast on 84-96-96 (108-108) sts with 2 threads beige-mix and circular needle size 4mm.
Knit Rib. After 2 cm start the stripe pattern see M.1, start at the bottom of chart. When
piece measures 10-13-14 (15-16) cm inc 1 st on each side of the middle 3 knitted sts see
Increasing tips on every other round a total of 12 times = 108-120-120 (132-132) sts.
After the last inc piece measures approx 20-23-24 (25-26) cm. On next round cast off 5
sts mid front and mid back and finish each leg separately.
Legs: Put sts from one leg on a thread and sts from the other leg on double pointed
needles size 4mm = 49-55-55 (61-61) sts. Knit round (continue pattern as before) and on
the first round dec the P4 on inner side of leg to P3 = 48-54-54- (60-60) sts. Continue in
Rib and stripe pattern until leg measures 18-21-24 (29-34) cm. Change to beige-mix and
knit 6 cm Rib for turn-up. Cast off loosely in Rib.
Knit the other leg in the same way.
Assembly: Sew opening between legs. Fold the upper 2 cm on waist towards the wrong
side and attach neatly leave an opening for the elastic and insert this. Fold the rib at
bottom of legs.

BOTTIE:
To fit foot length: 10-11-12 (14-15) cm

10 x 10 cm.
Garter sts (back and forth on needle): Knit all rows
Rib: *K2, P2*, repeat from *-*.
The bootie is knitted from top down and sewn together mid back afterwards. Loosely cast
on 14-16-16 (18-18) sts with 2 threads of light turquoise and needle size 4mm and knit
garter sts until piece measures 3-3-3 (4-4) cm. Put sts on a thread and knit a similar piece
(= the upper part of bootie). Put the 2 pieces in on the same needle and knit 1 row garter
sts over all sts = 28-32-32 (36-36) sts (the opening in the middle of piece = mid front).
Change to needle size 3.5mm and knit next row as follows from the right side: 1 edge st
in garter sts, *K2, P2*, repeat from *-* and finish with K2 and 1 edge st in garter sts.
Continue the Rib like this until it measures 3.5-4.4.5 (5-5) cm. Now put the outermost 10-

11-11 (12-12) sts each side on a thread. Change back to needle size 4mm and knit 4-5-6
(7-8) cm garter sts over the remaining 8-10-10 (12-12) sts mid front. Now dec 1 st each
side on every other row a total of 2 times = 4-6-6 (8-8) sts left, cut the thread. Pick up 1011-13 (15-17) sts on each side of the middle piece and put sts from thread back on needle
= 44-50-54 (62-66) sts. Knit 3-3.5-4 (4.5-5) cm garter sts over all sts, at the same time
after 1.5-2-2.5 (3-3.5) cm dec as follows on every other row until finished measurements:
Cast off 1 st at the beginning and at the end of row and K2 tog on both sides of the
middle st = approx 32-38-42 (50-54) sts left. Cast off loosely. Knit another bootie.
Sew seam under foot and mid back sew in the outer loops of sts in order to make the
seam neat.

(27-30) cm cast off loosely. The piece now measures approx 66-70-78 (88-98) cm from
sleeve edge to sleeve edge (incl 4 cm to turn up on each sleeve).
Right front piece + sleeve + leg: The piece is knitted from side to side from front edge
towards the sleeve.
Read the whole section before knitting it!
Cast on 3 sts with 1 strand of each Alpaca colour (= double thread) on needle size 5mm.
Knit garter sts, at the same time inc 1 st each side (for pointed front edge) see

Increasing tips on every other row: 12-14-15 (17-19) times = 27-31-33 (37-41) sts. At
the same time, after approx 3 cm cast off the middle 3 sts for buttonhole and cast on 3
new sts on next row. After all inc are complete (piece measures approx 7-8-9 (10-11) cm)
cast on 17-19-21 (25-27) new sts at left side of piece (seen from the right side) and insert
a marking thread = mid front.
At the other side inc 1 st as before for neckline on every row 7-8-10 (11-13) times and
then 9-11-14 (16-14) sts 1 times.
At the same time, when piece measures 2 cm from marking thread, cast on new sts for leg
at left side of piece on every other row as follows:
Size 1/3 months: 7 sts 3 times, 16 sts 1 time
Size 6/9 months: 9 sts 3 rimes, 16 sts 1 time

(121-134) sts at left side = 19-21-22 (24-26) sts left for sleeve. Insert a new marking
thread and measure piece from here from now on. When piece measures 2-1-3 (3-4) cm
dec 1 st at left side on every 2 cm a total of 6-7-7 (9-10) times = 13-14-15 (15-16) sts.
When piece measures 21-21-23 (27-30) cm cast off loosely.
Left front piece + sleeve + leg: Cast on and knit as right front piece, but mirrored.
Assembly: Sew shoulder + upper sleeve seams in outermost loop of sts to create a neat
seam leave 4-5-6 (7-8) cm for neck opening. Sew inner leg seams, under-sleeve and
side seams the same way and sew the opening between the legs. Sew on 1 button on the
right side of left front piece and 1 button on the wrong side of right front piece adjust to
buttonholes.
Fold approx 4 cm on each sleeve.

Garter sts: Knit all rows
Pattern: See diagram M.1. The diagram shows the pattern from the right side. English
Translations for the wording in the diagrams are given at the bottom of this pattern, and
they are given in the vertical order in which they appear in the diagram.
Button hole: Make button holes on right front band from the right side as follows: Knit
tog 2nd and 3rd st from the edge, 1 yo. Knit yo into back of st on next row. Make
buttonholes as follows:
Size 1/3 months: 15 and 19 cm
Size 6/9 months: 16 and 20 cm

Decreasing tips (applies to raglan):
All decreases are done from the right side.
Dec as follows in each transition between sleeve and body pieces (begin 3 sts before
marking thread): K2 tog, K2 (marking thread is between these 2 sts), slip 1 st as if to knit,
K1, psso.
JACKET:
Back and front piece: knit back and forth on circular needle read the whole section
before knitting it!
Cast on 163-181-199 (223-241) sts (incl 5 edge sts each side = mid front, knitted in garter
sts throughout) using ice blue and needle size 2.5mm. Knit 4 rows garter sts (1st row =
right side).
Knit next row as follows from right side: 5 edge sts in garter sts, M.1A over the next 150168-186 (210-228) sts, M.1B (= 3 sts) and finish with 5 edge sts in garter sts. Continue
pattern. When piece measures approx 15-16-19 (22-24) cm adjust so that next row is
from the wrong side and after 2 rows in stocking sts following 1 row with holes knit 3
rows garter sts over all sts (remember buttonhole on right front piece see explanation
above.). At the same time, on 2nd row of garter sts dec evenly on row to 130-146-160

(176-192) sts do not dec over the front band sts.

Knit next row as follows from the right side: Knit 31-35-38 (41-45) sts (= right front
piece), cast off 8-8-8 (10-10) sts for armhole, knit 52-60-68 (74-82) (= back piece), cast
off 8-8-8 (10-10) sts for armhole, and knit remaining 31-35-38 (41-45) sts (= left front
piece).
Put the piece aside and knit the sleeves.
Sleeve: knitted round on double pointed needles.
Cast on 42-48-48- (54-54) sts with ice blue on needle size 2.5mm. Knit 1 round, purl 1
round, knit 1 round and purl 1 round. Now knit M.1A begin by the arrow in diagram
and insert a marking thread in this st (= mid under arm). When piece measures 5 cm inc 1
st on each side of the middle 3 sts mid under arm a total of 12-12-15 (15-18) times as
follows:
Size 1/3 months: every 3rd round
Size 6/9 months: every 3rd round
Size 12/18 months: every 3rd round
Size 2 years: every 4th round
Size 3/4 years: every 4th round
= 66-72-78 (84-90) sts incorporate new sts in pattern as you go along, i.e. purl the first
3 inc sts, knit the 3 next etc. When piece measures approx 16-18-20 (24-28) cm - adjust
to after 2 rows in stocking sts following 1 row with holes purl 1 round. Now knit 1
round whilst dec evenly to 52-56-62 (68-72) sts. Purl 1 round and knit 1 round, at the
same time casting off 8-8-8- (10-10) sts mid under arm = 44-48-54 (58-62) sts left on
round. Put the piece aside and knit the other sleeve.
Yoke: Put sleeves in on the same circular needle as body pieces where you cast off the
armhole = 202-226-252 (272-296) sts. Insert a marking thread in all transitions between
sleeves and body pieces = marking 4 threads.
Read all of the following section before knitting it!
Knit back and forth circular needle over all sts remember buttonhole on right front
band, see explanation above.
Raglan decreases: knit 1 row from the wrong side over all sts before starting the
decreases. Dec 1 st on each side of all marking threads (= 8 dec per row) see
Decreasing tips! Dec on every 4th row: 9 times and then on every other row: 4-6-9 (9-11)
times.
Neck: At the same time, when piece measures 22-24-28 (31-34) cm put the 8-10-10 (1315) sts towards mid front on each side on a thread for neck. Now dec to shape the
neckline on every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times. When all dec for raglan and neck
are complete there are 68-72-74 (88-92) sts left on row and piece measures approx 27-2933 (37-40) cm.
Assembly: Sew the openings under the arms.
Neck: Pick up approx 96 to 138 sts round the neck (incl sts on thread) with ice blue and
needle size 2.5mm. Knit 1 row from the wrong side. Knit 1 row from the right side whilst
dec evenly on row to 79-79-85 (91-97) sts (do not inc over the front band sts). At the

same time, make buttonhole on right front band above the others. Continue in rib as
follows (1st row = wrong side): 5 edge sts in garter sts, *K3, P3*, repeat from *-* and
finish with K3 and 5 sts in garter sts. When rib measures 1.5-2 cm cast off in rib. Sew on
buttons.
TROUSERS:
Right leg: Cast on 52-60-64 (70-74) sts (incl 1 edge st each side) using needle size
2.5mm and light mint and knit garter sts. Insert a marking thread when piece measures 4
cm (= turn-up) and measure piece from here. When piece measures 4 cm inc 1 st each
side on every 1.5-2-2.5 (3-4) cm a total of 8 times = 68-76-80 (86-90) sts. When piece
measures 18-21-24 (29-34) cm, cast off 2 sts each side. Now dec 1 st on one side of piece
(= towards mid front) on every other row a total of 2-4-6 (10-12) times = 62-68-70 (7274) sts. Continue in garter sts until piece measures 36-42-46 (52-58) cm from marking
thread. Now knit 2 cm stocking sts and cast off loosely.
Left leg: As right leg, but mirrored.
Assembly: Fold right leg double and sew inner leg seam within 1 edge st NB! On the
lower 4 cm (turn-up) sew with seam on the right side so that it doesnt show when you
turn it. Sew left leg in the same way. Sew together the trousers front and back within 1
edge st and sew the opening between the legs. Turn the 2 cm stocking sts at the top
against the wrong side and attach with small, neat sts. leave a little opening for the
elastic band. Turn the turn-ups.
HAT:
To fit head circumference: 40/42 42/44 44/46 (46/48 48/50) cm
Garter sts: (on circular needle): knit 1 round, purl 1 round
Decreasing tips: Start dec 2 sts before marking thread: Slip 1 st as if to knit, K1, psso, K2
tog.
The hat is knitted round on double pointed needles. Loosely cast on 95-100-105 (110115) sts with ice blue and needles size 2.5mm and knit garter sts see explanation above.
When piece measures 8-10-10 (12-12) cm continue in stocking sts. When piece measures
13-15-16 (18-18) cm insert 5 marking threads with 19-20-21 (22-23) sts between each.
Now dec 1 st on each side of all marking threads on every other round see Decreasing
tips - until there are 15-20-15 (20-15) sts left on round. Pull a double thread through
remaining sts, pull tight and attach. Fold the lower 4-5-5- (6-6) cm towards right side and
attach each side with a couple of sts from the wrong side. The hat measures approx 1415-16 (17-18) cm.
Earflaps: The earflaps are knitted from bottom up. Cast on 13 sts with ice blue and
needles size 2.5mm and knit garter sts insert a marking thread in the middle st. At the
same time, after 2nd row inc on every 6th row a total of 7-7-7 (8-8) times as follows: inc

1 st each side within 1 edge st and inc 1 st on both sides of the marking thread (= 4 inc
per row) by making a yo and knitting into back of yo on next row (to avoid a hole) = 4141-41 (45-45) sts. After the last inc cast off loosely earflap measures approx 8-8-8 (9-9)
cm. Make another earflap. Fold earflaps double and sew to side and lower edge, there
should be approx 11-12-12 (13-14) cm between earflaps mid front (sew earflaps on the
inside of hat, 1-2 cm from lower edge so that the seam doesnt show).
