Dora Mendoza, my current teacher, referred me to your hospital. Dora has convinced me that
your hospital offers the perfect opportunity for me to gain in the field of nursing.
I am sufficiently qualified for the position of CNA. I attended the El Centro nursing program and
have received the proper education to succeed in this field. Prior to attending the nursing
program at El Centro I took a health science technology class, as well as anatomy and
physiology for a year. During the course of my training I maintained a 3.9 grade point average,
and I feel that my dedication and passion for this particular position will help me acquire my
goal of becoming a pediatric RN. Medicine is something I have always been interested in, and
volunteering at Baylor will only allow for my knowledge to continue to expand.
