January 2017

We hope you all had a very happy and holy Christmas, and that your
new year is off to a great year. Before the holidays, we enjoyed a very
successful Christmas Open House and Blitz. Thank you to all those who
helped organize, made contributions and attended our event. We were
overwhelmed with everyones generosity!
We will soon be starting the registration process for those new students
entering the kindergarten program in September 2017. We anticipate
that we will have many new students, and we encourage everyone to
register as soon as possible. Preparations for the next school year are
already underway, so it is imperative that we have a fairly accurate idea
of the number of students we will have. If you know someone who is
considering St. Anthony F.I., please encourage him/her to register asap!

The virtue for January is Wisdom. Wisdom means learning to make good choices. I can show
wisdom by asking a teacher to help me when I am having a hard time solving a problem with
another student, I can also show wisdom by understanding that caring, sharing and having
friends is more important than being rich.

Congratulations to our Intermediate Hockey Team!

On Thursday December 8, our team
participated in the London District
Catholic School Board hockey tournament. They put forth an excellent effort and enjoyed a day at
the rink with coach Mme Brown
and many parents and fans. Thank
you for all of your support
