CARDIAC MRI WITH DYNAMIC POST CONTRAST

IMAGING

Multiplanar multiecho sequences of the cardia were performed on a 3.0 Tesla Philips
Ingenia scanner with dynamic post contrast imaging.
Hx: Known case of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy for evaluation.
FINDINGS:No obvious cardiomegaly with normal sized cardiac chambers.
No obvious evidence of diffuse / focal hypokinesia of left ventricular myocardium with no
obvious increase or decrease in wall thickness / mass.
The right ventricular myocardium is unremarkable with no obvious regions of wall thinning or
aneurysmal dilatation or paradoxical motion.
Post contrast imaging did not reveal any pathological endocardial or myocardial enhancement.
No obvious pericardial collection or thickening.
Unremarkable right and left ventricular outflow tracts.
Proximal aorta appears normal.
No obvious valvular pathology / regurgitation.
No obvious mediastinal pathology otherwise.
Left ventricle functional assessment
