K NEWS 2

-We read Alphabet Mystery

and Alphabet Rescue and
talked about making
predictions, lowercase, and
uppercase letters.
-We read Chicka Chicka Boom
Boom and practiced spelling
our names.
-We learned sight words AND,
TO, and THE
-We read a BIG book about
the letters S, A, and T and
learned their sounds.
Writing
-We practiced holding a
pencil using the 5 little
monkeys song.
-We discussed how to
build letters and always
start our letters from
the top.

Math
-We had a visit from ZERO THE
HERO! He helped us celebrate day 10
of school.
-We practiced making patterns and
describing location using special bears
in boxes.
-We used our calendar to help count
down from 31.
-We counted how many letters were in
each of our names.
Other News
-We had our first PAWS
assembly with Mrs. Brett.
-We celebrated Madelyn and
Dannys birthdays!
-We earned our iPad Licenses
and passed level 1.
