A Party Frock of

I want a dainty, party frock,

A fashionable one
I hear our styles have
changed a lot.
Just as big folks have done.

Id like it in a pretty shade,

The colour of sky,
A frilly skirt of ankle length,
The waist-line nice and high

And then, of course a bolero,

long ago
A ribbon blue to tie my curls,
A poky bonnet so sweet.
And that is all I think I want
To make myself complete

You see Im a grown-up girl.

T go about in ricks!

Puffy sleeves, a posy too,

I must be tic lar how I

dress,

A lovely pair of shoes and

socks

Im nearly half past six!

To match this frock of blue.
