Jesus came to show God's love and forgiveness. The Bible story describes how Jesus forgave a woman who had sinned after the religious leaders tried to trick Jesus and stone her. Jesus said the one without sin should throw the first stone, and when he looked up, everyone had left except the woman. Jesus told her he forgave her sins and to sin no more. The devotional encourages completing activities each day to color in a power outlet as proof and have one's picture posted for completing three weeks of the devotional.

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and
confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source.
Jesus came to show Gods love.
Father God,
Some people brought a woman to Jesus that had done
some very bad things. They wanted to throw rocks at her so she would die. They also wanted to trick Jesus. They knew he taught about Gods love, but that the law had to be followed, too. Jesus slowly began to write something in the dirt. He said that the man who had not sinned at all could throw the first rock. When Jesus looked up, everyone was gone except the woman. Jesus forgave her and let her go. John 8:1-11
Thank you for showing us Your love through Jesus. Thank
you for my parents, teachers, friends, Pastor Ron, and his family. May they trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Prov. 3:5). Forgive me when I make bad choices. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth (Eph. 6:2-3). I will tell others how great You are and how much I love you. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life.
John 14:6
Numbers 6:24-25 The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
