My name is Rachel Martin and I am a senior at Tawas Area High School.

I
was born on March 2, 1999 in Tawas, Michigan and have lived here my whole
life. I have previously attended Holy Family School from kindergarten to 6th
grade, and Tawas Area Middle School for 7th grade. While at Tawas Area
High School, I have participated in National Honor Society, Varsity soccer,
volleyball, knowledge bowl, and Spanish Club. Outside of school, I have
participated in Holy Family Youth Group, worked at both the Tawas Family
Theater and Craving: Cafe and Bake Shop, am a member of WE Players, and
have tutored students in math.
My family is very important to me, as they have always been supportive of my
choices and actions. We often travel to National Parks and different states,
making memories that have shaped me into the individual I am today. I love
to explore new places and travel, especially to historic places such as
Gettysburg or Yellowstone National Park. It is my goal in life to visit all 50
states and most National Parks.
I have received the DAR Good Citizen Award, attended MYLead (a Michigan
Youth Leadership Summit), Christian Leadership Institute, and Women in
Engineering camp at Michigan Tech. I have received the All Conference Team
in soccer, as well as the All District Team for our 2016 season. My goal in life
is to attend college and find my passion in life.
