B. Motivation:
Have the students create a mental image of their father while the teacher
will play the song Dance with my Father. Have them describe or give the qualities they
love about their father. Call students to share answer. Explain to the students that the
topic is about a father who advises his son.
C. Lesson Development
A. Pre-Reading: Vocabulary Development
Fish Hunting: Divide the students into two groups. Let them go over the list of
definition given. Explain that one strategy to help figure out the meaning of
unfamiliar word is through definition or restatement. Proceed with the game by
letting the students take turns in answering the given description and find the
match word through fish hunting. The group with more correct answer will be
declared as the winner.
