2-The 4th grade Turkish students will name the jobs of people around them when
they are shortly and clearly described.

Students will make use of Total Physical Responses activities, Natural

Approachs principle of learning by experiencing, and they will be involved in

games.
Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials
and Require Learner Participation)]
-Cosplay: Every student will wear the suits of the different jobs in order to
understand and remember words easily.
-Roleplay: Each student has a role to tell their jobs. For example, one student
becomes a doctor and the other one becomes a policeman.
-Matching: There will be pictures of the jobs on the board and students will
match them with the transcription in English one by one.
-Concept Map: Students will understand clearly the use of verb to be thanks to
concept map.

Summary
Students will learn the names of jobs through cosplay activities and forms of
verb to be by using them in roleplay activity. With concept map they will see
the regular forms of verb to be. Lastly, they will be aware of more occupations
that they face in their everyday life.

Explanation
This evaluation will show us levels of students, what they have learned in

todays lesson and how they use it in roleplays.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan

If they have difficulty to grasp the expressions of jobs, teacher will have an extra
session in order to go and meet the people who have different jobs. Students
will have extra worksheets to understand verb to be and extra games about
jobs.
